Cardinal's Promise

In late 2022, seemingly out of nowhere, Holly Freeman started seeing a family of cardinals in her yard. Soon after, she learned about the legend of the cardinal and how cardinals are loved ones visiting after they have passed on. She and her husband experienced three significant losses in their families in 2022 and finds comfort in thinking that her two aunts and husband’s grandmother are visiting them. This pattern was designed with them in mind. She hopes this pattern brings other stitchers comfort, especially those who have experienced the loss of a loved one(s).
